Welcome!
Welcome!
It was clear from day one that college loans were going to be not only an issue for any individual student, but by the borrowers involved as well. College education is now a necessary means of education, but the question is "how much is too much for a college or university?" Certain Universities are charging up to 45,000 a year or more for tuition. Going through about 4 years of a University with a tuition such as this would end up costing all the parties involved 180,000 dollars. I don't know about you but my wallet feels that decrease happening, so much so that it just fell to the floor and disentegrated. What many people don't realize is that this tuition alone is enough to finance a house. It is not a smart investment to attend a University. The country is in a downward spiral in what I believe is due to "borrowing money that none of us have". Now of course you're thinking to yourself oh yea? then how am I supposed to be educated and forge ahead in the world? I know what I'm about to say will blow your mind. Go out there and get one of the indecent jobs that none of us can stand, a "McJob" if you will, and save everything you make while living with your parents. Of course if would take years and years of your life to make 45,000. Let's say you have a job that makes about 600 a month, saving up for a year you'd make 7,200 dollars which would be enough for a year at a community college. Think about working that same job for about two years, you'd already have 14,400 but that's untouched, no expenses. Taking out loans is no way to live your life, because it's not money that YOU HAVE, it's money that YOU DON'T.
